There is a concert happening next week in New York, featuring a Nepalese folk instrumental ensemble, Kutumba, along with other opening artists. Anyway, I was asked to do this painting for the stage background. Given the short period of time and enormity of the painting, I asked one of my artist friend, Dawa, to work along with me.
We bought all the supplies yesterday and finally got started with the painting. We are more or less done with the under painting or the background. It should take us a day or two more to finish the painting. Also, the color scheme and the style of this painting is based on the last painting I posted here.
Although not a personal work, I thought I should share since I haven’t been able to work on anything else.
